Manufacturing Month 2022

October, otherwise known as Manufacturing Month, is a month dedicated to the wonderful field of manufacturing. A field that quite literally keeps our lives in motion. Without manufacturing, we wouldn’t have any of the things that we use every single day. Without the manufacturing that we do at Pyramid Molding Group (PMG), we may not have easy access to important things like parts to our water softeners, parts that fix our cars, or COVID test kits that got us through the pandemic. All of us at PMG know that our work is valuable to the world, and we couldn’t do the work without our valuable employees. So, we decided to celebrate our awesome team the entire month of October!

To kickoff Manufacturing Month, we ordered 216 fresh and hot apple cider donuts from Edward’s Apple Orchard for our employees to enjoy. This was a delicious fall treat and a fun way to treat our employees. We DONUT know what we would do without our team!

Every Friday, we hosted a spirit day at Pyramid Plastics and a raffle. Spirit day themes included favorite sports team day, tie dye day, PMG blue-out day, and PMG green-out day. All employees present, got entered in the weekly raffle but if they dressed up for spirit day, they were entered into the raffle twice! The raffle items included Tervis cups filled with goodies, sherpa blankets, coolers, and deluxe camping chairs. Congratulations to all our winners!

To celebrate manufacturing Day on October 13^th, we provided a delicious lunch from Mary’s Market for our employees at Pyramid Plastics. “My favorite [part of Manufacturing Month] was lunch catered in from Mary’s Market which was fabulous. The sandwich was very tasty and good not to mention the delicious home baked cookie. A nice change from the same oh routine of the fast-food places in the area. We also handed out goodie bags to make s’mores at home because we appreciate them S’MORE than they know! To celebrate Manufacturing Month at Industrial Molds, we hosted the Cantina Taco food truck! It was a perfect 72-degree Friday afternoon, so employees enjoyed eating outside and playing some yard games in the sun.

Four lucky Industrial Molds team members won golf gift baskets and gift cards to Garrett’s Restaurant / Golf Shack and two lucky members of our office teams won a Nutribullet and a Wagner Carry-On suitcase. Congratulations winners!
